Plunder Tide: Idle Pirate Sim
Last Updated: October 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Plunder Tide: Idle Pirate Sim mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Our Privacy Commitment
Plunder Tide is a single-player idle game. Your progress, Gold, Scrolls, Charts, weapons, gear and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying personal information.
Information Stored on Your Device
- Game Progress: Isles cleared, Gold, Scrolls and Charts, weapon levels, gear, skills, Pirate Battles and Ship Hunt progress, daily quests, purchased items, and tutorial state are stored locally using on-device storage (Unity PlayerPrefs).
- Settings: Sound and screen-shake preferences are stored locally.
Device Backups
The App does not sync progress between devices and has no account. So that reinstalling the App on the same device does not lose your progress, a small copy of it is kept in that device's secure storage (on iOS, the Keychain, "this device only"). It never leaves the device and we cannot read it. On Android, the App's local data may be included in Android's standard app backup tied to your Google account; on iOS it may also be included in your own device backup (iCloud or computer backup). Those copies live in your own Apple or Google account, not on our servers, and we cannot read them. You can manage them in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Backup; iOS: Settings > [your name] > iCloud).
Information Collected Through Third-Party Services
Plunder Tide uses a small number of third-party services to show optional ads (free game) and to process purchases:
- AppLovin MAX (advertising): Serves the optional rewarded video ads. AppLovin and its mediation partners (currently Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Liftoff and Mintegral) may collect device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, device information, ad-engagement data, and diagnostic and performance data of their SDKs, subject to your tracking or consent choice on your platform. See AppLovin's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
- Adapty (in-app purchase management): Validates purchases and keeps track of permanent purchases (such as the Starter Pack or Gold x2 Forever) so they can be restored. Adapty receives an anonymous user identifier and your purchase history for this App. We do not receive your payment details. See Adapty's Privacy Policy.
- Singular (install attribution): Helps us understand which advertising campaign, if any, led to an install. Singular may receive your device's advertising identifier (subject to your tracking or consent choice), your IP address and device information, and install, session, progress (for example, the first isles cleared) and purchase events, including ad revenue, together with a random identifier the App also uses for purchases. See Singular's Privacy Policy.
- Anonymous Gameplay Analytics (Supabase): To balance the game and find problems, the App sends anonymous gameplay events — for example which isle was reached and how long it took, upgrades and items bought, whether an optional ad was watched, store screen steps, frame rate, device model and memory, and error messages. Events are keyed to a random identifier created on first launch (shown in Settings, next to the version); they are not linked to your identity, contain no name, email or contact details, and are not combined with data from other companies. Your device's region setting is included, not your location. They are stored on our backend hosted by Supabase. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Remote Configuration (Supabase): The App downloads configuration values (for example balance settings, gifts and update notices) from the same backend. This is a download only; the game works offline with built-in values if no connection is available.
- Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing: Processes in-app purchases, depending on where you obtained the App. See Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising & Your Tracking Choice
Plunder Tide shows only optional rewarded video ads: you choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game bonus, and the button always says what you will get. There are no forced, interstitial or banner ads. If you purchase "Disable Ads", those bonuses are granted without watching an ad.
Ad partners may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) to show more relevant ads. If you decline, you can still watch the optional ads, but they will be less personalized. Your rewards are the same either way.
- On iOS: permission is requested under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. Change it any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland: a consent prompt is shown on first launch. You can reset or delete the Android advertising identifier at any time in Settings > Google > Ads.
In-App Purchases
Plunder Tide offers optional one-time purchases:
- Starter Pack and Epic Pack: Permanent multipliers on the Charts you earn when you Set Sail, plus a one-time amount of Scrolls.
- Gold x2 Forever: Permanently doubles the Gold you earn.
- Disable Ads: Grants the bonuses of the optional rewarded ads without watching them, and keeps the x2 boost on.
- Chest Offers: Consumable purchases that add chests of randomly rolled gear and Scrolls.
- Scroll Packs: Consumable purchases that add Scrolls, the game's premium currency.
There are no subscriptions. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and permanent purchases can be restored on the same Apple ID or Google account.
How We Use Information
- Save and resume your progress and settings
- Show optional rewarded ads (free game) and process optional purchases
- Restore permanent purchases
- Balance the game, measure performance and fix errors, using the anonymous analytics described above
- Learn which advertising campaign, if any, led to an install (Singular)
Data Retention
Local game data remains on your device until you uninstall the App. A small progress copy kept in the device's secure storage for reinstalls on the same device can remain after uninstalling; it is never sent to us. Device backups in your own Apple or Google account are under your control. Purchase status held by Adapty is kept so that purchases can be restored. Anonymous analytics events are retained on our backend only as long as needed to balance and improve the game. Install attribution data is kept by Singular under its own retention policy. You can request deletion as described on our Data Deletion page.
Children's Privacy
Plunder Tide is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

If you reside in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent for ad personalization at any time via your device's tracking settings (ATT on iOS, Google Ads settings on Android) or the consent prompt.

We do not sell your personal information. If you reside in California, you may exercise your CCPA rights by contacting us.

If you reside in Brazil, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and consent withdrawal under the LGPD. Contact us to exercise them.
